Nutrition for Sport & Exercise Performance
This course is aimed at those who are keen to apply sports nutrition to improve sporting performance. You will gain a scientific understanding of macro and mirco nutritients to maintain/improve energy during sports performance, how to gain lean muscle tissue, and how to lose body fat.
The principles of training will also be discussed in order to facilitate lean tissue growth and body fat loss. In order to give the learner a rounded approach to Sports nutrition which incorperates a number of factors (both lifestyle and physical) to allow successful implementaton of nutritional programmes.
Nutrition will be applied to the following areas within the course, strength & power, muscle hypertrophy, flexibility, and endurance training.
